As a large number of contemporary art centres are celebrating decades of work - thirty, forty, even sometimes fifty years since their creation- how can they proceed to write their history without having previously organised their memory?
On the occasion of Capc’s fiftieth anniversary, DCA organised a symposium on the art centres’ archives with the presence of artists, curators and art historians. This symposium was followed on from a professional day entirely dedicated to archives and aimed at the art centre teams.
Tuesday the 28th of November, 9h30-13h
In the Auditorium of the Capc
