Les Bains-Douches art center, founded in 2011, is a space for experimentation in art and publishing. The annual program combines solo exhibitions by emerging and re-emerging national and international artists with invitations from independent curators. It is conceived as a global tool for anchoring the various experiments that enable connections to be established from diverse horizons (between mediums, artists, audiences, theorists, etc.), thus redefining the relationship between the structure, its users, the artists and the works it hosts, and the partners it solicits.

Exhibitions take place in two contrasting and complementary spaces, offering artists a tool for reflection/production/monstration.

Les Bains-Douches is also the repository of extensive documentation on the Italian-American artist Piero Heliczer, constituting a constantly evolving line of research.
