The image/imatge art centre, located in Orthez in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region, has for many years been developing a project focused on contemporary images. Conceived as a space for production, experimentation and distribution for artists, it is also a place of discovery and exchange for everyone. In addition to the exhibitions, a wide range of activities are organised throughout the year for a wide variety of audiences, encouraging the sharing of knowledge, enjoyment and discovery.

A rich programme of cultural events (performances, concerts, film screenings, lectures, etc.), visits and workshops is offered throughout the year in partnership with various local organisations and associations. Aimed at individuals and groups (children, adults, the elderly, schoolchildren, art school students, people with disabilities and/or the so-called ‘excluded’, amateurs, the curious and the uninitiated), these are all opportunities for discussion and/or practice.
